Hostel 4

NTV Uganda’s much followed drama series, The Hostel TV series, is back with a fourth season, BigEyeUg can reveal. The show which has been revamped and given new characters will start showing again on the Nation Media owned station on Monday next week.

According to the executive producer, the show returns with new twists that will keep viewers at the edge of their seats through the 90 episodes. “Viewers should get themselves ready for another 90 episodes of pure entertainment and drama at a level that has been raised even much higher than where we previously were,” says Richard Geria, the Executive producer of the show.

Speaking about the change of characters, the producers revealed that no hostel remains with the same student’s year in year out. “The truth of the matter is that no students’ hostel remains with the same residents for more than five years,” Geria says in explanation. “It’s something the viewer’s themselves revealed to us when we made a survey about the show.”

However some things have not changed, the team maintained the writers and several other stakeholders. “We have retained the old writers, editors, camera crew and generally the old production team, only improving it by adding new and young members whom we’ve found exceptional enough to add value to the previous standard,” Geria added.
