All is not lost for Miss Uganda Leah Kagasa! Despite losing out on the Miss World title, Leah believes she can still make a difference in the lives of the local masses.
Speaking after the Miss World finale that was held in Maryland, USA on Sunday, the beauty queen revealed that she was glad to have represented her country and hopes to still make a difference locally.
“Ugandans, I hope you are not sad that I didn’t win the Miss World title. God has many ways of rewarding us as a country, and if it wasn’t through Miss World Pageant, it could be through another platform. I am still smiling and happy inside out because honestly I completely depend and trust in God.” She said.
“I represented my country to the fullest and I could never be more proud of myself. I hope that I am able to make a difference in each and every life of the people in my country. The journey continues,” she added.
Meanwhile, Stephanie del Valle of Puerto Rico was crowned Miss World 2016. First runner-up was Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez of the Dominican Republic, followed by Miss World Indonesia Natasha Mannuela.
