Hon. Nakiwala Kiyingi has kept her promise to support Fresh Kid, Uganda’s young music sensation, by securing him a free secondary education at an international institution.
This milestone comes after Fresh Kid, whose real name is Patrick Ssenyonjo, excelled in the 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).
The talented singer achieved an impressive first grade, scoring 11 points while studying at Kampala Parents’ School. His primary education was supported by a scholarship from the Ruparelia Foundation.
Now, his academic journey continues at Hana International School, where he has been granted a full six-year scholarship to complete his secondary education up to Senior Six.
Hon. Nakiwala Kiyingi’s intervention ensures that Fresh Kid will balance both his education and his flourishing music career.
Under the new arrangement, the young star will be allowed to perform weekend shows, just as he did during his primary education.
This achievement has sparked widespread admiration for Fresh Kid’s dedication to both academics and music.
