The Homes and Property expo is on. The expo which is being hosted at the Garden City top parking space kicked off on Thursday with different players in the real estate and construction business taking up the stalls to display their goods and services.
The expo which returns for the 8th edition was officially opened by the State Minister for Housing Chris Baryomunsi who was left impressed with the products on exhibition following a brief inspection ceremony.
“I have been impressed with what is being exhibited at this expo. I have seen a lot of excellent and high quality stuff,” he noted. “Ugandans no longer have to travel abroad to get quality materials because we have it all here.”
He also lauded the expo organizers for the excellent initiative, and pledged government support to the real estate actors saying they will continue to provide a conducive environment to enable profitable and thriving businesses.
Organised by Edwin Musiime, the expo is aimed at influencing and changing home lifestyles by giving home owners access to innovative solutions in real estate.
The expo has attracted over 50 exhibitors who include Home furnishers, Office furnishers, Real Estate dealers, Construction engineers, Construction companies, Security companies, Investment advisers and Mortgaging financing institutions among others.
The 3-day expo which will run until this Saturday, December 1st is sponsored by Roofings, Backyard Gardeners and Nina Interiors among others.
The expo is free entry.
