The 10th edition of the HiPipo Music Awards will be going down this Friday, December 10, 2021 at Mestil Hotel, Kampala.
The long-awaited virtual experience marks a decade for the HiPipo Music Awards existence.
In November, the highly celebrated music awards in Uganda officially announced their nominations with over 10 categories, recognizing the enormous talents that have entertained and enthralled throughout the musical calendar.
“And so, here they are, the nominees for the 10th HiPipo Music Awards. With their voices and their dancing, they have entertained and enthralled you, and made what has been a fairly trying time for all a little better. They are the pride of their countries and communities, and come from all over the continent. Theirs are exclusive talents, but what they do is fantastically inclusive, something for all of us to savour and enjoy,” reads a statement on HiPipo social media platforms.
HiPipo also made-public the voting process on its official site; www.hma.hipipo.com
“They are all winners. But now has come the time for you to choose the best of the best. Happy voting!” HiPipo added.
Keeping going from strength-to-strength with a lot learnt over time, the HiPipo currently boasts as the most ancient event, celebrating and awarding the artistry fraternity in the country.
HiPipo Music Awards keep refining and redefining their processes, and thus how they nominate, vote and select winners is continually fine-tuned.
This’ because the awards never forget that it is the public’s right to have presented to it for consideration only the best, the proverbial crème de la crème.
Under the theme #LevelOneProject, a number of performances from top-notch artists around the continent will be included.
It’s an assurance that there will be celebration and enjoyment that will go down in the ages as some of the best ever!
