The High Court has finally passed its final verdict in the case of USL vs FUFA. The ruling was passed in favour of the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) yesterday morning by Justice Yasin Nyanzi.
According to the federation, Justice Nyanzi dismissed the case suit HCT/00/CV/MC/19/2015 (filed by USL) thereby giving FUFA a go ahead to continue its legal dealings with AZAM Media group.
“FUFA can go ahead to televise the Azam Uganda Premier League matches after the interim court injunction was lifted”, reads a statement on the federation’s website clarifying on the matter.
The development now implies that Azam pay TV will televise the FUFA Azam Premier League (Uganda Premier League) matches as meant to be before it was halted by a court injunction.
The clash between the Red Eagles of Express fc aka ‘Muwagizi wabangi’ against the ‘Blues’ and 16-time record champions of SC Villa is likely to be the first game that will be televised this Friday (20th March) at the Wankulukuku stadium.
