Former Masaka Local council star and ex-SC Villa striker Herman Wasswa has reunited with his old club Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) as the Yellow boys continue to strengthen their attacking force.
The two time league winner parted ways with the Kasasiro Boys in June 2015 after running out of contract with the current league leaders.
He then joined Kenyan Premier League side Sofoapaka FC in a deal worth $22,000 but after a while fell into dispute with the Nairobi based club citing failure to honor the terms of his contract part of which stated that he was to be paid $1,500 as monthly salary.
Over the weekend as the club unveiled their most recent signings in the names of Farouk Kawooya and Petit Wanok, head coach Mike Mutebi did mention that the former striker would return to the club since he had already been training with them.
“Our former striker Herman Wasswa has been training with us since returning from Kenya where things never worked and very soon, he will be announced as another January acquisition,” Mutebi said.
