Golden Band’s Mesach Semakula, who had earlier announced that he would hold his concert dubbed “My Journey” at Serena Hotel, recently changed his mind and shifted it to Hotel Africana.
According to our sources in the band, one of the reasons why Mesach changed his mind was because of worry that his show could flop after his fellow musician Ronald Mayinja’s show flopped at Theatre La’bonita last month.
We have also learnt that when Mesach inquired from his friends, he was advised to change the venue after learning that his target audience could not fork out Ugx 100,000 especially at such a time when his music is not doing well.
The Namakula singer has since opted for Hotel Africana in a concert dubbed Omwana Wa Muteesa slated for Septmber 25th. Entrance will be 20K for Ordinary and 50K for VIP.
