Kenya’s socialite Huddah Monroe was in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania last weekend to attend Zari’s All White party, held at Dar’s Mlimani City Mall.
However, even after arriving in Dar on Friday, she didn’t make it to the party.
In an interview with radio journalist Millard Ayo last Saturday, Huddah said that she was unwell that Friday night, making it impossible for her to attend Zari’s party, although she had been invited.
But according to a member of Diamond’s crew, who requested anonymity, cash issues could have led to her not attending the party.
“There were budget constraints before the show since most sponsors had not paid up front. So, most of the guests had to fly in themselves and get a refund after the show,” said the source.
“However, she met other ‘friends’ and went elsewhere. She even said she had a hangover the following morning during the radio interview.”
It now appears that since she was not being paid by Zari to attend the show, she opted to hang out with her “very rich friends”, according to our sources.
Zari made a kill after the show since the event was full to capacity.
