Chameleone’s fans in Kenya will have to wait a little longer to see the music star perform in their country. The “Wale Wale” hit maker who was set to headline the 10th edition of the Koroga Festival in Nairobi this weekend will not be performing at the event as it has been postponed.

“It would be too risky to gamble on the weather this weekend, hence the decision to postpone (and not cancel) the event. We’ve postponed the 10th edition of the Koroga Festival till Sunday 3rd January 2016,” the organisers announced.

Chameleone who seemed upbeat about the event had earlier called on his fans to grab their tickets labeling it his ultimate Christmas gift to Kenyan fans.

He posted: “Grab your tickets for the Ultimate Xmas Gift 2015. KOROGA FESTIVAL 10th Edition 2015. This Sunday!!! I am Highlighting this one in a Full Musical Force live at the Arboretum,Nairobi,Kenya. See you there”

The Koroga Festival is organised to celebrate the greatest African acts from around the continent, food & culture.
