Rema Namakula

While some bought new pairs of shoes, singer Rema Namakula heavily invested the contentious yellow money in a smarter way.

The bubbly “Katonotono” singer is said to be at the verge of joining Kampala’s elite business class. She has invested up to a tune of Ugx 100M in starting out a ladies beauty saloon in Makindye, Uganda’s poor version of Hollywood.

The saloon will be a welcome idea given the high demand of beauty products and today’s women’s obsession with following latest beauty trends at all costs.

The singer was previously the face of a bridals saloon. Watch this space!
