Just hours to the long awaited first concert of the year, all the preparations are already complete for talented vocalist David Lutalo to thrill his fans tonight in a concert dubbed “Akantu album launch” at Hotel Africana. This is one of the shows that is worth attending given the fact that it has been pumped in a lot of dimes by the numerous sponsors and put in a well-organized place with a conducive environment, ample parking space, and a well-built stage with good lighting and sound system from Silk Events.
David Lutalo rose to fame with his song “Kapaapala” and since then his music has been loved by many Ugandans especially the ladies because of his high toned sharp voice and for that case we expect all the city juicy babes to storm the venue and show him love as they cheer him on tonight.
Besides that it has been sometime without any major concerts in town since the festive season ended, therefore being the first concert of year we expect a huge turn up not forgetting that the month has ended and most people’s pockets are somehow ‘smiling’.
Most artistes have released new songs which they can’t wait to perform to their fans and so expect to see a long lineup of your favourite local artistes as they are all expected to attend and these include; Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, Radio and Weasel, Eddy Kenzo, Desire Luzinda, Irene Ntale, Sheebah, Ziza Bafana and many more. Tickets go for Ushs 20,000= for general and Ushs 50,000 for VIP.
