Here’s what Diamond Platnumz said after being nominated in BET Awards

Tanzanian sensational singer Diamond Platnumz could not hide his excitement after learning that he had been nominated in the coveted BET Awards that were announced today.

The “Number One” hitmaker took to social media to thank his fans for their continued support and announce his nomination. He posted: “Just wanted to thank you for your Major Support and let you know that I have been nominated for ‪#‎BETAwards‬ as the Best international Act Africa.”

Diamond who is nominated in the Best International Act Africa category will battle with seven others for the prestigious award. Other nominees are: Wizkid (Nigeria), Yemi Alade(Nigeria), Mzvee (Ghana), Serge Beynaud (Cote D’ivoire), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Black Coffee (South Africa) and AKA (South Africa).

Meanwhile, this is the second time Diamond is being nominated. He was also nominated in 2014, but lost to Nigeria’s Davido.
