It was a blessing in disguise for Radio and Weasel as Wizkid rejected doing a song with Uganda’s number one singer Jose Chameleone. We have learnt of the underlying reasons why Wizkid dropped the finest artiste on the land for Radio and Weasel, who are also very good by the way.
Chameleone had his Gimme Gimme song ready for a remix with Wizkid and, with no doubt, our sources reveal Wizkid was so impressed and was willing to put voice to the track for a remix.
However, when Wizkid later learnt that the artiste in question was Chameleone who had earlier on done a song with his sworn enemy way back home in Nigeria Davido, Wizkid immediately trashed it and asked they bring another artiste in line. It is at this point that Radio and Weasel were presented of course after attaching their CVs of how they had been BET nominees two years ago.
Chameleone was however not moved after he was told he could not have a collabo with Wizkid, he went ahead and posted a picture of the two together.
“Wizkid is as good as Davido and I am as good as them both. If my brothers Radio and Weasel do a song with Wizkid its still good for us all, One love, one Africa, ” The Leone Island boss said.
