Musician Dan Flavour recently cut off his dreadlocks, an act that left many fans in shock.
When the Sina Makosa singer was asked why he cleared his dreads, he was hesitant to speak out but later we learnt the truth.
Apparently, Dan is marrying his longtime lover called Carol who is the owner of Spectra Saloon in Kampala. The wedding which is slated for February next year forced Dan to clear his hair as he prepares to meet his in-laws.
“You know in Uganda, when you have dreadlocks people think you are a ‘muyaye’, he doesn’t want to be seen as that when he meets his girlfriend’s relatives. That is why he decided to clear his dreads,” said a member of Dan’s music crew.
Sources have it that Carol and Dan Flavour met at Club Venom where he used to work. Carol has supported Dan Flavour since that time and even invested in his music career.
