Firebase singer Mikie Wine, who doubles as the headmaster of Sulubada high school, is set for a mega concert dubbed “Namata mu Nakirijja” slated for October 30th at Club Ambiance parking.
Since announcing his concert, many people have come out to debate about the move. Many seem to believe his concert will flop but here are some reasons why I think the concert will be a success.
- Mikie Wine is brother to popular singer Bobi Wine, whose fame he has always rode on. He has since garnered a considerable following which is expected to come out in droves to support him.
- Many musicians including Kenzo have passed through his hands. Therefore some people will flock Club Ambiance parking to catch a glimpse of other singers that will come to support the singer like Kenzo.
- There have been a lot of fights in the music industry between both upcoming and established musicians, but Mikie has remained neutral. Therefore there will be no fans rallying against his concert.
- And lastly, Mikie Wine’s music appeals mainly to the lowbrow class. He understands this and has set his concert fees at a pocket friendly price and this will encourage many to turn up for the concert.
