A clearly excited Chameleone couldn’t wait for the conversation to end so that he could post the photos on his Social Media platforms. But what exactly did the Badilisha singer tell the most powerful couple in Uganda?
Our sources reveal that Chameleone pledged his support for the NRM party. We have been told that he promised to do all in his power to make sure that all his fans support and vote President Museveni. “He said that he will use his music to make sure that all his fans become members of the party and vote for Mzee,” said a source who was at the meeting.
According to Chamili, it was a great honour for him to meet the President and his wife. “It was a great honour sharing a moment with His Excellency President of the Republic Uganda Yoweri Museveni and the First Lady Janet Museveni. This is about youth empowerment and skills,” he said.
It was rumoured earlier this year that Chameleone is part of a select number of musicians whose music will be used during the Campaign trail of the president come 2016. He was allegedly given over 500 million with his close singing comrade Bebe Cool. Other stars on this list include Radio and Weasel.
