Here is Bobi Wine’s birthday message to the late Kabaka Mwanga:
“If am to go by my calculations, Ssekabaka Daniel Basamule’Kkele Mwanga accented to the throne at the age of 18 in 1886 and two years later, he signed the death warrant of the Uganda Martyrs who were convicted of high trison and sentenced to death. Consequently they were executed on 3rd June 1888 and according to research, it was King’s birth day too,he was 20 years-old. Today 3rd June 2015, I want to take this opportunity to wish Ssekabaka Mwanga a Happy 147th birthday.”
