What hurts me the most about social media is that unimportant stuff makes headlines and gathers likes.
I am here on a somewhat sad note. A friend of ours has battled throat and lung cancer for 6 years. She has undergone all sorts of cancer treatment including chemotherapy which has eaten away her flesh and her back bone is exposed! The pain she has undergone is not something anyone can describe unless they have been through it.
She has an operation for her lungs scheduled very soon but she needs at least Ugx 10 million for the surgery and some extra cash for a herbal guy to help her up her immunity etc etc etc.
She was sent back home and right now she is feeding thru a tube in her throat. And amidst all this sadness, she always has a smile on. We have set up a group to help in any sort of fundraising to help her pre surgery during and after to keep her alive and well. Her contact – 0784168178.
