As part of its integrated global Spectre campaign, Heineken Uganda will this Thursday, 05th November premiere Spectre – the movie to Ugandan audiences at the Century Cinemax Cinema, Acacia mall from 5:30pm. The movie which features Daniel Craig as James Bond is the latest in a series of sponsorship events commissioned by Heineken Uganda including the recently ended Rugby World Cup, UEFA Champions League, the Kampala City Bottle and now Spectre.
Heineken’s Spectre campaign is the brand’s largest global marketing platform of 2015. Spectre, the 24th James Bond adventure, from Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, was released in the U.K. on October 26 and will premiere in the U.S. on November 6, a day after the Kampala premiere on 05th November.
The black tie only affair will have Heineken Uganda’s partners, consumers, friends and guests treated to a cocktail on the Acacia mall rooftop from 5pm before the movie screening at 8pm to 10:30pm before being treated to an after party at the same venue. Heineken’s association with the James Bond film franchise dates back to 1997’s “Tomorrow Never Dies”, with Spectre, being the seventh consecutive film in the partnership.
