Healingway Hospital, formerly Paragon Hospital today opened to the public officially in a ceremony that was presided over by the speaker of parliament Anita Annet Among. Owned by the Fortune Group of Companies, led by Captain Mike Mukula, the NRM vice chairperson for Eastern Uganda, the hospital’s opening marks a new era in healthcare, with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

Among assured the private sector of parliament’s support, highlighting existing incentives like tax waivers on medical equipment and laws facilitating organ transplants and donations. She also plans to push for the passage of the National Health Insurance Bill and the Assisted Reproductive Technology Bill.
“The hospital aims to tap into Uganda’s strategic location, attracting patients from neighboring countries” Captain Mukula emphasized.
“Mukula’s investment in Healingway Hospital demonstrates his commitment to giving back to the community” Among praised him for his vision and investment, noting that it will go a long way in serving people’s needs.
