NAVIO RADIO AND WEASEL

Ugandan Rapper, Navio, is a man of few words who lets his music do the talking. But when his music counterparts bagged an award last night, his joy could not let him stay mute.

The rapper, known for his Kata song said in a statement that he was very proud of the Amaaso singers after scooping the Best Africa Reggae award at the Afrimma awards 2014 in Lagos, Nigeria. In a move that many thought was uncalled for, the rapper assured “haters” to keep hating Radio and Weasel as this will further their career and help them shine on.

“Even though you hate them, you must respect what just happened! Radio and Weasel got Best Reggae song at the Afrima Awards. I am so Ug and proud of them,” he said.

Well, congrats to Radio and Weasel once again and we applaud unity among Ugandan musicians as showcased by Navio.
