Singer and songwriter Nince Henry recently revealed that his English accent is one thing he hates most about himself.
While appearing on local television, Nince said that his dream of being a Hip-Hop star was shattered by his fake accent.
“I used to skip lessons in school, visit internet cafes and write songs from western hip-hop artistes and I thought I could be a rapper but I decided to give up on being rapper just because I couldn’t rhyme with hip-hop,” said Nince.
He went ahead to indicate that rhyming in Hip-Hop needs one to have a good English accent.
This could also be the same reason to why most of the songs he has written for other artistes and himself are basically in local language only.
