Uganda Cranes defensive midfielder, Hassan Wasswa has joined two time league champions Vipers Sports Club from Iraq’s Al Shorta SC.
The former SC Villa star has signed a six-month deal with the Uganda Cup defending champions.
Wasswa bitterly left the Jogoos in January 2016 to join the Iraqi outfit where he has been playing until recently when he decide not to extend his contract with them at the end of the six months deal.
The 27 year old central midfielder who can also stand tall in central defense will be a major boost to coach Abdullah Mubiru’s side that will be representing Uganda in the continental CAF Confederations Cup.
