Following a highly publicized breakup with her husband Acram Gumisiriza, Hajat Kulthum has made it clear that she has no intentions of ever walking down the aisle again — at least not in public.

In a candid statement, Kulthum opened up about the lessons she has learned from her failed marriage, saying she now understands the power of negativity, jealousy, and even witchcraft from outsiders.
“Even if I ever get married again, you will only see my face — not my man’s,” she said. “I’ve learned that there are so many people with bad intentions who fight marriages. There are even witches.”
According to Kulthum, one of the biggest mistakes she made was allowing the public too much access to her personal life.
She believes that marriage problems can be solved privately, but once the public gets involved, it becomes nearly impossible to manage.
“I used to hear things about my marriage from other people — things I couldn’t even explain because I have a status to protect,” she added. “People were fighting my marriage, and it became overwhelming.”
Kulthum also blamed bloggers for escalating the situation, accusing them of spreading a mixture of truths and lies that left her mentally drained. Eventually, she says, the confusion and pressure became too much, forcing her to walk away.
