Hady Ssengo, one of the organisers of the Ripped Jeans party, is excited about the event’s new venue. Hosted by Ashburg Katto, the party that was supposed to take place at Club Guvnor was cancelled after his nudes were leaked online.
However, Ashburg has since sought a new venue for the party. The Ripped Jeans party will now take place at Club Silk on 11th December this year and tickets go for 25K.
Here’s a statement from Ashburg explaining why Club Guvnor refused to host his party:
“To all my dear fans and followers it’s with deep sorrow that I have to inform you that Club Guvnor called off my ripped jeans party which was due to take place on 20th/Nov/2015. The reason given was about the nude picture which someone I trusted leaked. We all know no one in their sane minds will ever post their own nude pictures.
Guvnor prides in their brand and they mentioned that they don’t work with anyone whose nudity has been exposed on social media because it tarnishes their brand. We apologized to them but they refused. I almost felt like committing suicide because I had injected in all my hardly earned money but I kept the trust in my God.
All my fans and followers join me to thank Club Silk for giving me a second chance. The ripped jeans party is still on and bigger this time. Club Silk gave me a new date – 11th/December/
