Guinea have dropped midfielders Kévin Constant and Moussa Demi Keita ahead of their trip to Kampala, where they will face Uganda in matchday 2 of the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2015 qualifiers in Group E on Wednesday.
The Ugandan authorities have restricted the Guinean delegation to a maximum of 25 members, including both players and staff, as they want to minimize the risks of the spreading of the deadly Ebola virus.
Constant, Keita and suspended Issiaga Sylla left the rest of the squad as the Syli National made a stopover in Paris on their way to Kampala on Sunday.
Goalkeepers’ coach Fodé Laye Camara and General Coordinator Dian Bobo Baldé also stayed behind in the French capital for Guinea to remain within the limits fixed by their hosts.
Guinea are topping the group on three points following their 2-1 win over Togo in Casablanca on Saturday, while Uganda and Ghana are both on one point after their 1-1 draw in Kumasi.
The game will kick-off at the Mandela National Stadium at 18h30 CAT on Wednesday.
