Ugandan singer Grenade Official has addressed long-standing rumors that he is often pursued by older women, popularly referred to as “sugar mummies.”
Known for his charm and flashy lifestyle, Grenade has frequently made headlines over his alleged relationships with women significantly older than him.
However, the singer seems unbothered by the chatter, offering a cheeky and poetic response to the speculation.
“I am a young shiny flower, so the sugar mummies set themselves up for me,” Grenade remarked in a recent interview. “Every bee wants to locate the shiny flower, so that’s me in that regard.”
His metaphor, likening himself to a flower that naturally attracts attention, suggests he views the interest from older women as flattering and inevitable rather than controversial.
