Ugandan singer Grenade Official has opened up about the mysterious circumstances that led to the cancellation of his much-anticipated concert earlier this year.

The show, which was scheduled for 15th February 2025, was called off just days before, leaving fans disappointed and confused.

Now, months later, the “Nkuloga” hitmaker has revealed the reason behind the cancellation: he completely lost his voice and believes it was due to witchcraft.

“I lost my voice completely and I couldn’t sing or rehearse,” Grenade shared. “I wouldn’t have cancelled for any other reason because I had planned well for it. However, two days after cancelling it, I regained my voice. Someone I know bewitched me.”

He described his voice as sounding “froggy” during that period and said attempts to rehearse were futile, forcing him to make the painful decision to call off the show.

While Grenade didn’t name who he suspects of bewitching him, the singer’s remarks have stirred conversation online, with fans expressing concern and curiosity over the ordeal.

Despite the setback, Grenade remains optimistic and hinted at rescheduling the concert in the near future.
