It’s such a dark moment for Ugandan singer Deus Ndugwa alias Grenade Official after being accused of witch-hunting his ex-girlfriend.
Grenade who is popular known for his 2019 hit song “Nkuloga” which is translated as “I bewitch you” in English, his inspiration behind the song apparently counts.
Appearing on a local TV interview on Wednesday, Grenade Official’s girlfriend revealed that her decision to dump the singer was based on the fact that he was be-witching her.
She says that she is a Moslem by religion and she would never believe and even associate with someone like Grenade who practices witchcraft.
“I cant forgive him, Grenade tried to be-witch me. He was trying to bewitch me and I cant go for that. I am a moslem and I don’t believe in witchcraft, I don’t practice witchcraft, and I cant be with someone who practices Witcraft. Nothing else ended our relationship except witchcraft,” she told Spark TV.
She also narrated how she was tipped about Grenade witch-hunting her by his own relatives after paying them over Ugx.1.5Million when she met them at one Shell Petrol Station in Lyantonde-Masaka road.
“Someone from his family reached out to me and told me everything that he was doing. I met them in a place called Lyantonde on Masaka road at Shell Petrol station and I gave them Shs. 1.5Million and they explained everything that Grenade is doing,” she added.
The former lover further claims to possessing a recording of Grenade while in a shrine and witch enchanting.
She reveals how the young singer one day returned to her house with strange cut on his body.
“They even recorded Grenade while in shrine talking to something called “Jajjas”. And also Grenade came to my house with cuts on his chest and that was very bizzarre,” she lamented.
She also accuses Grenade of blocking her iPhone and Apple watch.
This comes in a day after Grenade being arrested by Police after ex-girlfriend accusing him of trespass and other cases.
In April, Grenade was arrested and sent behind Police custody for trespassing the lady’s home after a bitter split.
