Singer Green Daddy has called on songstress Azawi to refrain from accusing other musicians of not speaking out against corruption in Uganda.

Green Daddy’s remarks come after Azawi criticized her colleagues for not being vocal about the issue.

Green Daddy responded by suggesting that Azawi should temper her criticisms.

He pointed out that Azawi did not participate in the recent “Match To Parliament” protests against corruption, yet she continues to accuse others.

“Azawi needs to chill. She didn’t even participate in the protest on corruption, and she ends up accusing us,” Green Daddy stated.

Over the past few months, Azawi has been vocal about her dissatisfaction with certain government services, with the anti-corruption campaign being a central focus of her public statements.
