Ugandan singer Green Daddy has expressed disappointment with the singing trio B2C after no upcoming artists were given a chance to perform at their recently concluded concert at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

The event, held last week, marked B2C’s 10-year anniversary in the music industry.
While the show attracted a large crowd and featured performances from several well-known artists, Green Daddy believes it missed an important opportunity to support young talent.

Speaking after the show, Green Daddy said the event should have been memorable not only for the group but also for upcoming artists who are struggling to break into the music scene.
He reminded the public that B2C were once upcoming artists themselves and were given platforms by established musicians during their early days.
“I am not happy that no upcoming artist was given a chance to perform,” Green Daddy stated. “B2C should remember how they were supported when they were still new. They should have used their show to lift others.”
Green Daddy’s comments have sparked debate on social media, with some fans agreeing that established artists should do more to promote new talent.
