Rapper Gravity Omutujju faces possible arrest as he has been summoned to Mengo Magistrates court for breach of contract.
Gravity was dragged to court by a one Kironde Swagart who accuses the “Omwoto” hit maker of breaching a 15 million contract where the plaintiff paid the popular rapper 7.5 million in purchase of Gravity’s ‘Omwoto’ extra concert in Masaka and the balance was to be paid after he (Gravity) stepped on stage.
Kironde adds that to his dismay, Gravity, after consuming his money, went ahead to sell the same concert to another promoter in Masaka and its on this basis that he wants him to pay 10 million which includes a refund of the 7.5 million and 2.5 million to compensate the losses incurred.
Gravity who has since been ordered by the Mengo Magistrates Court to prepare his defence in not more than 14 days has remained silent about this matter and our efforts to reach him were futile as his known contact was off by press time.
