Luga-flow rapper Gravity Omutujju has set up yet another concert on Independence Day dubbed the Money Concert which is expected to take place on Sunday the 9th of October this year.
Last year, Gravity also held his ‘Omwoto’ concert on the same date and it saw lots of his fans fill up Freedom City. We contacted him for a comment on why he prefers holding his concerts on Independence Day, this is what he had to say: “Independence day being a public holiday, many people don’t work and since it is a family day, even students are home. One will spend the whole day with his wife and children and in the evening they will come out to have fun.”
He also added that he has invited many local artistes, indicating that those who will respect his invitation will come and perform. Gravity pointed out that even though some big artistes may play games and don’t show up, the concert will still go on.
It should be recalled that last year, his ‘Omwoto’ concert that was held on the same date saw top artistes like Bebe Cool, David Lutalo and King Saha curtain raise for him and this year it is expected to be same.
Entrance will be 10K and 20K for VIP.
