Gravitty Omutujju

Ugandan rapper Gravitty Omutujju also known as Geresom Wabuyu was arrested and locked up last week for assault. The arrest followed events that unveiled at the UBC offices where he had gone to sign a contract for their new promo called “Kitimbule”.

The rapper and his crew dashed out of the UBC boardroom to their car hurling insults at the UBC staff particularly one staff member called Ivan. Sources revealed that Ivan who is a music promoter had at one time paid the singer to perform at a show but he never turned up. Gravity ended up slapping Ivan twice after a confrontation between the two. Gravity was roughed up by security at UBC. Threats never to play his music on any of the UBC stations followed.

Gravity then begged for forgiveness and he was eventually released. Ivan reported the rapper to Police at CPS for assault where he was jailed only to be saved by Bobi Wine. The Ghetto Gladiator bailed him out with 500,000shs.

We hope that the musician best known for his “winner” track pays up damages amounting to 1 million to Ivan to avoid being thrown in jail again.
