Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and composer Kenny G will perform in Uganda for the very first time this Sunday at Mestil Gardens, in a spectacular show aptly titled One Night Only. The concert, organised by Malembe Lifestyle, promises to be a landmark moment, celebrating the timeless artistry of one of the world’s most iconic musicians.
For decades, Kenny G’s music has been the soundtrack of love, sophistication, and celebration. Classics like Silhouette, Loving You, Songbird, and Forever in Love, as well as unforgettable renditions like Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On, have graced weddings and intimate gatherings across Kampala. His mastery of the soprano saxophone has earned him global acclaim as one of the most respected jazz artists and the best-selling instrumentalist of all time, with over 75 million albums sold worldwide.
This Ugandan debut follows Kenny G’s surprise performance with pop star Doja Cat at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month. It is yet another chapter in his enduring cultural influence, one that has seen him cameo in Katy Perry’s Last Friday Night video and collaborate with Kanye West on the 2019 gospel anthem Use This Gospel.
Two of Uganda’s most iconic brands, Johnnie Walker and Tusker Malt Lager, have partnered to present this unforgettable evening. Known for their dedication to craft, creativity, and cultural moments, both brands see the concert as a natural alignment with their ethos.

Tickets are available via Quicket, with early bird General Admission priced at UGX 200,000. Advance General Admission tickets are UGX 250,000, while Platinum Tables (for eight) go for UGX 6,000,000. Tickets at the gate will be UGX 300,000.
