Singer Grace Nakimera may have been away from the music scene for a while, but it’s all for a good cause.
The musician has been actively involved in charity, working with albinos and less privileged children under her organization, ”Feed the streets Foundation”. She started a campaign to build a home for children that had no shelter and nobody to fend for them early this year which has turned out be a success as she celebrated the milestone by sharing pictures of the house with a jovial mood captured in all the pictures with the children.
“Previously, girls from this family used to step out of their little old house to look for shelter under elder boys’ roofs! This will never happen again! We are grateful to GOD that our first campaign was a huge success! Thank you for the support and prayers extended to this family,” she wrote.
Feed the Streets Foundation is currently undergoing a coordinated campaign to increase the housing supply in Uganda. This campaign is called #BuildAHome
