Gospel artist Grace Morgan has made a passionate appeal to churches, urging them to start financially supporting the individuals who tirelessly serve within their ministries.

From ushers to instrumentalists—pianists, drummers, and more—many of these contributors dedicate their lives to advancing the work of God without any form of compensation.
Speaking out on behalf of those often overlooked, Morgan emphasized the challenges faced by gospel musicians in particular.
Despite their significant role in church worship and evangelism, many continue to struggle financially.
“I will speak on behalf of others because for me, I have been blessed that I can get all the money I want,” he said. “But gospel singers are the ones most suffering. That’s why they are the servants I respect the most.”
Morgan criticized a common mindset in many born-again Christian circles, where it is believed that gospel musicians should not receive payment for their services.
He called this perspective both unrealistic and unfair, especially considering the financial investment involved in producing gospel music.
“Some of them have to buy songs from songwriters, record, shoot videos, and then suffer with promotion,” he added.
His message is a call to action for churches to reevaluate their approach and begin valuing ministry workers—especially gospel musicians—not just spiritually, but financially as well.
