In a heartfelt message to her two-year-old daughter, Grannah, singer Grace Khan expressed her emotions as her little girl began her school journey.
Reflecting on her efforts to provide a traditional family environment, Khan shared the challenges she faced in her attempt to co-parent with her daughter’s father, fellow singer Prince Omar. Despite their efforts, the relationship did not last, and Khan is now committed to raising her daughter on her own.
Khan, who welcomed Grannah Aisha in 2022, faced public curiosity regarding the identity of her child’s father.
After initially denying his paternity, Prince Omar was confirmed as the father through a DNA test. The two singers endeavored to sustain their relationship for the sake of their daughter, but their efforts fell short, and they separated just a month later.
In her message, Khan expressed gratitude for the support system she has in place. She acknowledged the invaluable assistance of Susan Makula and Pastor Bugingo, who have been instrumental in helping her navigate the challenges of single parenthood.
“The goal was to have you both parents like other children but unfortunately you ended up having me alone kamaama. Hey Baby Grannah, please Be a good gal to Jjajja Pastor & Jjajja Makula. Make them proud the world is having your back because you’re loved. Go to school, Be kind, Don’t forget Allah. I love you Aisha we will rejoice someday. We love you online parents.”
