GOtv, Uganda’s leading Digital Television provider has dramatically reduced the price of its hardware from UGX 104,000 to UGX 87,500 with a package that comes inclusive of a decoder, an antenna and one free month subscription on GOtv Plus.
Announcing the new price in a press statement today GOtv General Manager Patricia Kiconco said, “Our aim is to provide fantastic all round family entertainment and ensure as many Ugandans as possible can afford high quality digital television.”
“GOtv offers a fantastic range of the very best local and international channels transmitted in the most advanced digital format delivering the very best picture and audio quality available anywhere in the world.”
She continued, “The reduction in hardware prices is also our way of expressing our gratitude and appreciation to our Ugandan subscribers as we gear up to celebrate GOtv at 5 years in the Ugandan market in August . We have walked this journey with them and we would like to thank them wholeheartedly for their support.”
Talking about some of the exciting programming GOtv Lite subscribers can look forward to Patricia revealed “From the 1 st of July, GOgetters on GOtv Lite will have access to Emmanuel TV (channel number 82) and SuperSport Blitz (channel number 31). GOgetters on GOtv Lite will be spoilt with the addition of more quality programming that includes the latest news from the sporting world on SS Blitz along with one of the most sought-after Christian ministries in the world on Emmanuel TV, a Christian television channel founded by Pastor T.B. Joshua, the founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN).”
The GOtv hardware price promotion will start on July 1, 2016 and is applicable while stocks last. The hardware kits are available at MultiChoice offices and agents countrywide.
