Of recent, the Goodlyfe boys have been in the spotlight not because of their music, but for the impending break-up rumours hovering over them. Nonetheless they have not let that cast a shadow over them.
The dynamic duo is back with a brand new video. When they were nominated for BET awards, it was not just sheer luck. The Goodlyfe duo is surely talented. They set the precedent then and they are not faltering not even one tad bit. They are still aiming for greater things, musically. And their new video dubbed ‘Breath Away’ attests to that.
‘Breath Away’ is a video you would probably not mind watching while relaxing in your living room after a long day. The video certainly lives up to its title; it will take your breath away. The visuals are that good.
The video was shot in a desert-esque setting where Radio and Weasel are seen chasing a beautiful belle who takes them on a wild-goose chase through the wilderness. And when they finally catch up with her, they suddenly wake up only to realize they were hallucinating, having been puffing on some high grade stuff.
Generally, the concept and visuals were well crafted, and the result was a quite captivating video. It will be no surprise if the video enjoys ample air play even away from home that is Channel O, MTV base et al.
‘Breath Away’ is off their 2014 album–Street Lights, and was shot in South Africa by Ahoy films.
