Local artistes were for the first time ever recognized locally for the
effort they put in trying to deliver quality videos. Club―the main sponsors of the event, probably trying to live up to their tag line “tastefully different”, thought up a brilliant idea of awarding individuals for their outstanding works.
Well, you can’t say it was entirely an all new idea, just something being imported and curtailed to suit the local community.
The inaugural event was held last night at UMA main hall and for first timers it was a mega success.
Quite often, music and comedy tend to go hand in hand and that was the case last night as the motor mouthed Golola Moses walked onto the Club Music Video Awards stage.
I know you must be thinking… an array of jokes rocking the air. Well, they did and it was a laugh-out-loud moment for the revelers. But, no… that was not the highlight of the night!
Golola donning a suit? A very rare sight!
When he said, he is the only man who can pocket while naked, it sounded to me like a euphemism for I would rather strip naked than keep in this suit. I guess I didn’t think wrong after all as Golola went ahead to rip the sleeves to his suit.
Now feeling more comfortable, he went ahead to flex his biceps before he ran off the stage to give way for more serious business of the night.
