The new “BigBrother version” reality show for East Africa known as God Father East Africa which shall be watched on your screens on either NTV Uganda, NTV Kenya or Citizen TV Kenya from the first quarters of 2018, producers held their second meeting on Wednesday in Nairobi, Kenya to pinpoint about the application process, applicant’s instructions and the GFEA 2018 house rules, and to inform the general public on how it’s gonna be – from the applicant stage to the finalist selection through auditions which shall be carried out in; Nairobi, Kigali, Kampala & Dar es salaam, respectively for all applicants from all the four (4) East African countries.

The Person in charge of Applicants to the GFEA 2018 House, Mr. Allan Komba (also working with EATV) advised the general public that so, “If you are selected by the Producers for an audition, you must be willing to travel at your own expense to be auditioned at a time to be scheduled by the Producers in their sole discretion and at one of the locations nearest to the city you listed in the Audition form. The Producers reserve the right to add, cancel and/or substitute other cities as Audition locations, same applies to if you are selected by the Producers to join the God Father East Africa house/flat, you must be willing to travel to Nairobi, Kenya for the show as scheduled by the Producers in their sole discretion, availability of an Economy travel flight (trip to Nairobi, KE and pick-point at Jomo Kenyatta International airport), hotel accommodations and per diem will be arranged and paid for by the Producers.”

The God Father East Africa house/flat will last for a period of 3 months on your TV screen, and on such dates to be determined by the Producers in their sole discretion, the winner shall walk-away with Kshs. 2,500,000 equivalent to UGX. 85M and Tzshs. 50million. Contestants shall have little or no privacy in the GFEA house, due to the extensively outfitted video cameras and audio recording devices which will record, broadcast and exhibit their actions and voices at all times, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week in every room of the house for the duration of each one of their participation in the show. Producers furthermore explained, the contestants will be observed at all times by both the Producers as well as the general public watching on television, the Internet, mobile devices and any and all other media.

Producers also advised, if you are chosen to live in the flat, it is your responsibility to make any necessary arrangements with your employer and family in anticipation of your extended absence from home.

Only two finalists will receive prizes, but a weekly draw shall be conducted for each participant for each week that he or she remains in the God Father East Africa flat. Draws shall be participated in by the general public who’ll vote by help of each participants’ code during the ongoing broadcast of the show – During this Elimination stages every week, live events shall be organized which shall involve the Public participating all through until the eviction stages where members shall decide who to stay in the house or leave.

To Apply for the GFEA 2018 house it’s totally free of charge, but you must be at least 21 years of age at the time of the application & you must be a member of the East African community/ a citizen who lives in one of the selected countries namely; Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda & Tanzania. You must be in excellent physical and mental health.

You must agree to submit (prior to the date of your audition), any further application materials or documents (such as your birth certificate, passport, and/or other identification) as well as a Medical history Form once you’re selected to be auditioned. You must also submit to physical and mental examinations by Producers- selected medical professional(s) in Nairobi selected by the Producer and meet all physical and psychological requirements.

By applying for participation in God Father East Africa, you also authorize the Producers to conduct civil, criminal, financial, driver-history and any other type of background checks deemed necessary by the Producers to ensure the eligibility of your application form.

Earlier on too, DJ MO, also a Producer (a famous Kenyan Gospel DJ) advised that applicants will further be chosen to create a pool of approximately twelve (12) finalists in total. Meaning that from every EA country highlighted above shall enter only three (3) contestants in the GFEA house. He also stressed that the Producers reserve the right to change any of the application terms at anytime or to select or not select anyone at their sole discretion. He continued, “The Producers are looking for a dynamic group of individuals who are articulate, interesting and exhibit enthusiasm for the project as well as a willingness to share their most private thoughts in an open forum of strangers. This group of individuals, while meeting the technical requirements of the program, must also have sufficient physical, psychological, and mental capacity to endure 3-months in a monitored house/flat under extraordinary conditions.”

Not as easy as it looks – but it could be you…. If you think the huge money can be yours in 3-months early year, all you should do is pick an Application Form, fill it & wait for a call to the auditions if you’re short-listed! Application forms shall be picked from identified area agents & also on the God Father EA official site which is being worked on, so one will have options to either submit their application form through the GFEA site, the GFEA e-mail or back to the agent you picked the form from – in your respective country.

Currently, as soon as you hear of availability of the Application Forms – Simply go pick the form & submit there and then, GFEA have a strong preference to receive your applications as early as possible but likely to stop by January, 1st/ 2018. Early submissions also increase your chances for your application to be looked into without any rush. All materials sent (including videotape and photos) will be retained by Producers and become the property of the Producers and will not be returned to you whether or not you are selected as a participant. Only one entry per person is allowed. All decisions of the Producers are final and absolute and not subject to any further inquiries.

The GFEA committee & league of Producers consists of about ten (10) Industry Professionals from within the East African community, from all the four countries.

Irene Ntale talks about plans to get married

Musician Irene Ntale who has a new EP out has finally spoken about her marriage plans. While other artistes seem to have no problem finding someone to marry, it is not the case with Irene Ntale who said that she is having an ample amount of time to get her self together and find the right man to call hubby.

While appearing in a recent interview, Ntale has this to say. “I’m not in a rush to get married and I’m sure God will help me get a man at the right time.” Ntale stressed as she responsed to numerous questions from fans about getting the one.

She then went on to express that it is a nice thing to be married and just like most women, she would like to find a good man who she can settle down with.

Irene then dropped the bomb on any fellow artiste that wishes to become her man. The RnB, reggae, and acoustic artiste said that she cannot and will never marry someone in the same industry emphasizing that she would really wish to have someone who does not have any single interest in doing music.

Ntale while getting much deeper into the conversation said men fear approaching artistes because of their statuses which usually comes as an injustice.

We know the artiste has been dating and we are sure she will find the right person soon and her fans will be the first ones to know. We will keep you posted.

Nessim Producer set to sign 15 year old Lucky Jo from Kumi district

Producer Nessim is set to be the first audio producer in Uganda to sign a juvenile singer. According to sources, the producer has set eyes on new talent from Kumi district. Like his name, Lucky Jo is the lucky one set to put pen to paper and officially affiliate to Nessim productions.

Unlike most juvenile artistes in Uganda now, Lucky Jo doesn’t come with tha rap style. Lucky Jo is a song writer, singer and dancer . He started his music journey in primary seven vacation where He wrote his first song “keity”.  He however used the covid 19 period as a chance to record his song Keity.

Lucky Jo decided to meet Douglas Lwanga to seek advice on how he could promote his newly recorded audio . He appreciated his voice and talent and directed him to Nessim Pan Production to reproduce his already recorded single. Nessim picked alot of interest in Lucky Jo’s Talent and saw alot of potential and he offered to mentor and produce Lucky Jo.

Lucky Jo was born on 20th Feb 2005 to Mr Anguria IIsa and Mrs Mondo. He is in senior one at Greenhill academy.

Sheila Gashumba and God’s Plan first show attracts East Africa’s biggest socialite Zari

Sheila Gashumba and her boyfriend’s show started last night and in its first episode attracted a huge number of viewers. An estimated 2K live viewers were glued on their Facebook watching the first ever episode of God’s plan and Gash Lounge show last night.

The show also featured arguably East Africa’s biggest socialite by Instagram numbers, Zari Hassan. While Zari and Sheila Gashumba both share an experience with socialite life, they also have faced some of the harshest cyber bullying, according to them.

The show also featured Angella Katatumba and doctor Ethel Nakimuli who served as a psychiatrist.

Popular Bongo star Naseeb Abdul Juma alias Diamond Platnumz is set to walk off the market once again just five months after his split with Kenyan girlfriend Tanasha Donna.

This time round, the father of five will be going an extra mile with legalizing his new relationship unlike his formerly renown love games.

Speaking during a social gathering in Tanzania, Platnumz expressed concern about his outgrown age that now seems ridiculous for him having mistresses instead of wives.

The ‘Jeje’ crooner is now bothered being it that he is not getting any younger.

I am not single. I have a woman whom I want to marry. We both don’t want to date just for the sake of it, we want to get married. On the 2nd of October, 2020 I will be turning 31 years old and I just don’t want to have just any woman, a mistress or an escort… I want to marry,” Diamond said.

Despite not stating anything related to his wedding dates, word on the streets of Tanzania already has it that plans are already underway for his wedding with the girlfriend.

The curious citizens have also extrapolated his admission by establishing Diamond’s bride-to-be’s identity moreover receiving aid from singer’s mother, Sanura Kassim.

This follows Sanura sharing a photo of Jihan Dimack, a Lebanon-born model and former Miss Universe Tanzania.

She went beyond and heaped praise on Dimack to which the beauty responded, “Thank you.

If you can recall, a ‘wedding’ was priority when Diamond and the mother of his last-born child first dated.

Diamond, however, often suggested postponing the wedding date claiming that he preferred a magnificent wedding, never witnessed before in history.

He also revealed that his international guests and friends being present at the event would additionally make a statement for him.

Diamond’s half-sister, self-styled Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) First Lady, Queen Darleen is remembered to have hinted loud on the controversially postponed valentine wedding date between Diamond and Tanasha this year.

Queen Darleen revealed that her brother was not ready for marriage and was not going to settle down any time soon as majority had anticipated.

He and I often talk about matters of marriage and relationships. Diamond fears being in a ‘marital cage’. He says he wants to settle down when he is ready, and I don’t think he is currently up for it,” said Darleen.

Matching her words rightfully, the CEO WCB and the Kenyan radio personality split a few months later as parents but unmarried.
