Lugaflow rapper GNL Zamba has been profiled on a popular urban platform in Cape Town. The platform gives you a short glimpse of the rapper’s music journey in pictures.
Excited about the nod, the rapper posted on social media; “GNL ZAMBA Featured among other Artists in Cape town on a very popular urban platform, Thanks to the photographer and Italian friend Tom Fiscalletti of Milan. The Story Essay was done when GNL had finished his soundcheck along side the African legend Oliver Mutukudzi of Zimbabwe, way to go !!!!!!”
The Photo Essay was compiled by Tommaso Fiscaletti, an Italian photographer who lives between Milan and Cape Town, in a project dubbed “I couldn’t be anything else”.
Talking about the project, Tommaso says, “In the installations, these compositions of old photographs integrate with what the subjects are today in Cape Town. They are here in Cape Town because they dream of becoming international pop stars. This is the African place that permits them to get such visibility. In some of these installations I have added a further document: a flyer about them or about one of their concerts, in order to document the beginning of an expected future or at least its projection..”
