Kampala Money lender Darius has threatened to bring rapper GNL Zamba to book if he does not pay back his Ushs 10M he allegedly borrowed in preparation for his Ceaser concert in April. We have learnt that Ernest Nsimbi aka GNL borrowed the said sum from one Darius who plies his trade in Naalya early February which monies he used for settling overheads for his Ceazar Concert that was slated to take place on 18th April at Kati Kati bar and restaurant.
One of East Africa’s most influential artistes, Gnl zamba was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda. He started professional music in 2007 after completion of his Bachelors Degree. His break out hit was ‘Soda Jinjale’ off the record breaking album Koyi Koyi/Riddles of life. He has won numerous awards, including best male artist of the year BUZZ AWARDS, Album of the year and 2 best hip hop singles PAM AWARDS.
GNL has gained international exposure and recognition through performances on international stages in Ethiopia, Zanzibar, London, Dubai, Kigali, Benin to mention but a few including the Sauti za Busara and Selam African International music festivals.
