A few days ago, the world was celebrating world AIDS day and several campaigns have been put in place to avert the epidemic. Several artistes have been involved in these campaigns and among them is the legendary Zamba.
Having released a song talking about AIDS called Story ya Lukka where he narrates the story of an AIDS victim, Zamba has been reached by a non Government organization called Reach a Hand Uganda to raise more awareness about HIV/AIDS.
In this campaign, Zamba is tasked to use his influence as an artiste to encourage people especially the youth across the country to use condoms in a campaign dubbed “If it’s not on it’s not safe”.
Zamba shared the news with his fans and friends via social media and this is what he posted:
“Story ya lukka, am blessed to have created a song that has touched so many people’s lives. a few days back was world AIDS day so remember to keep your self safe as we work towards an HIV free generation. For my brother’s and sisters who are living positively with HIV remember to regularly take your medication, the future is still bright. Now m working on a campaign called #itsnotonitsnotsafe with @reachAhandUganda , FHI and UHMG katekeko!!!!!”
