GNL Zamba, real name Ernest Nsimbi, and his wife, singer and creative partner Miriam Tamar, are celebrating their 7th wedding anniversary in a style as lyrical as their music.

The Baboon Forest CEO took to social media to share a heartfelt and poetic message in honor of the milestone, reflecting on both their marriage and 13 years of love and partnership.
In his post titled “THE LUCKY BIG 7 for M & G”, GNL shared a beautifully written poem highlighting the symbolism of the number seven—describing it as sacred, divine, and complete. He likened the years spent together to a vibrant symphony of love, light, and growth.
“Seven years woven in love’s golden thread,
Since vows were spoken, and two souls wed.
Yet thirteen years our hearts have known,
A secret garden in the forest where the seeds of our love have grown,” he wrote.
He continued with tributes to Miriam, describing her as “Mother of my kingdom” and marveling at the radiance she brings to their shared life, affectionately dubbed “Zambaland.”
The post also included a toast to their friends, fans, and family who have supported them along their journey, emphasizing, “The Forest is Forever.”
The couple tied the knot in 2018 in an intimate ceremony attended by about 120 guests in Malibu, California. Over the years, they have not only built a life together but also collaborated artistically under their project Nsimbi, blending African and Western sounds with a message of unity and cultural pride.
