Gifted Music Group (GMG) boss, Paul Owor, a renowned music enthusiast recently opened up a modern music recording studio, GMG Records in which he invested over shs 100million.
Speaking to us, Paul revealed that he purchased only the latest studio equipment from china and he is certain that the studio will bring an upgrade in quality of Ugandan music.
The machines include; an iMac “Core i7” computer, state-of-the-art studio monitors, a Sound-craft LX7ii 32 Console 32-Channel Mixer and a Phantom 3 Professional Drone camera among others which all total to $ 27,000 (about Shs 92 million) before taxes.
The studio which is located in Naalya will be open to all artistes who wish to work with some of Uganda’s finest audio producers and video directors.
