Ugandan songstress Gloria Bugie has shared a deeply personal story about a turning point in her life, revealing how she overcame trauma with the help of her faith.
In an emotional account, Bugie spoke about a difficult experience last year when a nude video of her was leaked online.
She described the moment as deeply traumatizing and said it shook her to the core.
“I was so hurt and confused. I thought about quitting music completely. I even considered leaving Uganda,” Bugie revealed during an online interview.
The singer said she was at her lowest point when she decided to seek comfort through prayer.
“I called upon God to speak to me, and He did. His voice calmed my heart, and I felt a sense of peace,” she said.
Bugie believes that moment strengthened her spiritually and helped her regain focus in both her personal life and music career.
She continues to encourage others going through hard times to trust in God’s timing and guidance.
