Information reaching us indicates that Gloria Bugie, an upcoming singer, spent the night at Jinja Road Police Station.
This follows a complaint filed by renowned promoter Abtex last month with the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID), accusing Bugie of indecent conduct and allegedly releasing her own private video.
The controversy started last month when a private video of Gloria Bugie surfaced on social media, sparking debate and mixed reactions from the public.

Although Bugie initially claimed that the video leak was an act of blackmail, Abtex took a different approach, formally filing charges against her under the Computer Misuse Act.
According to Abtex, Bugie’s actions reflect indecent performance, which he believes should be addressed under Ugandan law.
Currently, Bugie’s management team, Hit Boss, has not yet issued an official statement regarding the arrest, leaving fans and the public eagerly awaiting clarification.
Bugie is expected to appear in court soon to address the charges brought against her.
